Local Business Spotlight
Shivering Shaved Ice- Corner of H St. and California Ave.
10AM-9PM
One afternoon I was driving by California and H when my daughter noticed what looked like an shaved ice spot and she started screaming at me that she wanted one LOL We decided to stop and what a great decision. The workers and owner were kind and talked to us. I originally made a small TikTok post, and they were so thankful for it. Look at the kind words they sent me via a TikTok DM.

I was reminded one of the reasons I started this whole ordeal was to be able to shine light on good local people and businesses. Please go give Shivering Shaved Ice a try, and follow their instagram and TikTok. Just check out their unique stand and some of their delicious work!

Fallout: Bakersfield (The Game)
The scene when the protagonist enters Bakersfield
I was scrolling around the World Wide Web a few days ago and came across this absolute gem. A group of fall out fans are making a fan made game and the setting is Bakersfield. They estimate it is 60% done and are giving out a release date of 2027. Check out this screen shot from the trailer with the protagonist entering the city. Look at what the text says in the corner
You approach a dark and broken city. Little life can be seen. A stench of death surrounds the area”
Check out the trailer for yourself, it looks awesome. What absolute sent me into defense mode and laughter was looking at the comments. I’ll pick some of my favorites.

I’m going to be on a mission to prove to America that Bakersfield is nice LMAO
That’s it for this week.
Another issue in the books. Continue to help me out and share please!
